After the pump is deactivated, all the water in the pump and the water pipe should be discharged, and the gear oil pump should be kept dry inside. Clean some dirt from the outside to prevent the water and ice from bursting when the water freezes.
Pump shafts that are severely bent or worn should be repaired and replaced and reassembled.For the cast iron parts such as the bottom valve, bearing and elbow of the pump, the rust should be brushed with a wire brush, the pump is shielded and then painted, and then dried and placed in a ventilated and dry place in the machine room or storage room. After removing the belt, wash it and dry it, and hang it in a dry place. Wash the removed screws with diesel oil, apply oil, reinstall them or wrap them in plastic cloth to prevent loss and corrosion.
Do the above to ensure that when you use the pump again in the coming year, just like the new one, you have to respond. This also extends the life of the pump and makes better use and protection of the pump.
