Clean water pump introduction:
A pump is a machine that converts the mechanical energy of a prime mover into a pumped liquid energy. The pump is used to increase the potential, pressure and kinetic energy of the liquid. The prime mover drives the impeller to rotate by the pump shaft, and works on the liquid to increase its energy, so that the required amount of liquid is transported by the water-absorbing component of the pump to the required height or the required pressure. The clean water pump is a machine that converts mechanical energy into energy of clean water. It is a commonly used feed water pump. It is called a clean water pump because it is different from other special water quality occasions such as sewage pump and anti-corrosion pump.
Working principle:
The prime mover of the clean water pump drives the impeller to rotate through the pump shaft, and works on the clean water inside the pump to increase its energy, so that the required amount of clean water is transported from the water absorption and the over-flow component of the pump to the required height or the required pressure. .
Basic component:
Enclosure: The casing collects liquid from the impeller and converts the kinetic energy of part of the fluid into pressure energy, and finally directs the fluid evenly to the discharge port. The casing of the single-suction single-stage clean water pump is mostly a spiral volute type, and some also have fixed guide vanes in the casing.
Impeller: It is the main component of the pump. Divided into open impeller, semi-open impeller (only rear disc) and closed impeller (with front and rear disc). Open impellers are used to transport liquids containing impurities, such as sewage pumps. The clean water pumps use closed impellers and are mostly rear impellers.
Sealing ring: In order to reduce the amount of liquid leaking into the low pressure zone in the high pressure zone of the casing, a sealing ring (also known as a leak reducing device) is usually installed on the pump body and the impeller. Since the gap between the moving ring and the fixed ring of the sealing ring is small, it is easy to wear and the efficiency of the pump is lowered, so it should be checked or replaced regularly.
Suction chamber: The suction chamber of the pump acts to minimize the flow loss of liquid into the pump body. The structural shape of the suction chamber has a great influence on the suction performance of the wall-mounted pump. The suction chamber is usually used in the form of a cone tube and a ring. The cone tube type is more commonly used, and its taper is about 70-180.
Shaft seal: The pump shaft extends out of the pump body, and a shaft seal is arranged between the rotating pump shaft and the fixed pump body to reduce leakage of fluid with high pressure inside the pump to the outside of the pump and prevent air from intruding into the pump. Commonly used shaft seals include a packing shaft seal, a skeleton rubber shaft seal, a mechanical shaft seal and a floating ring shaft seal.
Axial force balancing devices: Single-suction single-stage pumps and the blades of some multi-stage pumps have axial thrust. The cause is mainly caused by the imbalance of fluid pressure acting on the ears on both sides of the impeller. If no measures are taken to eliminate it, the pump shaft and the impeller will be shaken, and the components will be damaged due to friction caused by the force. Generally, a balance tube is set or a balance hole is formed on the rear plate, and a thrust bearing is used to balance the residual pressure.
In addition to the above main components, the clean water pump also has a pump shaft, a bracket, a coupling, a bearing, and the like.
Selection guide:
1. Select the clean water pump mainly to see the parameter flow and head;
2. The centrifugal pump is suitable for places with large flow and large lift;
3. The pipeline pump flow range is not large, suitable for places with low lift;
4. The horizontal pump is routinely selected, and the vertical pump is selected when the installation is limited;
5. When the single-stage pump can not meet the requirements, choose the two-stage pump;
6. When the temperature t>65°C, select the hot water pump; when t≤65°C, choose the cold water pump.
Classification:
Divided into different media: cold water pump and hot water pump. According to the working principle, it is divided into: centrifugal pump and pipeline pump. According to the position of the pump shaft, it is divided into: horizontal pump and vertical pump. Divided into different impeller stages: single-stage pump and multi-stage pump.
