(1) Check carefully before installationBefore installing the submersible pump, first check whether the chest shaft is flexible. If it is found that the pump shaft is not flexible, there is a crash sound, and the chest shaft is shaken radially. The fault should be removed before installation. Next, check whether the water inlet hose is damaged. If it is cracked, it should be repaired in time. Thirdly, check whether the fastening bolts are loose or not. Tighten the loose bolts. Finally, check the motor winding of the submersible pump and the insulation resistance of the cable. Only when the voltage is not less than 0.5 megohm is allowed to be installed and used.
(2) Correct distributionThe power cord should be selected according to the regulations. The cable should be overhead. The power cable should not be too long. If the distance between the power supply and the pump is too long, the cross-section of the wiring of the cable should be appropriately increased. The joint should be as small as possible to reduce the line voltage drop. The submersible pump below 10 kW can be started directly. The control device is preferably an automatic air circuit breaker. If there is no such electric appliance, the knife switch can also be used, but the appropriate fuse should be installed according to the working current of the submersible pump. Submersible pumps of more than 10 kW should be equipped with a step-down starter to protect the submersible pump. The cable should be placed in the groove of the water pipe flange and the cable should be fastened to the output pipe with a water-resistant rope. When the submersible pump is launched or discharged, do not force the cable to avoid breakage of the power cord. At the same time, prevent the cable from being scratched during the downhole.
(3) There must be two levels of leakage protection measuresTo ensure safety, a metal rod with a length of 1 m or more can be buried in the damp ground near the power supply or pump as the grounding body of the submersible pump. At the same time, install a leakage protector. Because the submersible pump works underwater, it is easy to leak electricity and cause electric energy loss and even electric shock. If a leakage protector is installed, as long as the submersible pump leakage value exceeds the operating current value of the leakage protector (generally no more than 30 mA), the leakage protector will cut off the submersible pump's power supply to avoid leakage and ensure safety.
