Ordinary centrifugal pump, if the suction liquid level is under the impeller, it should be pre-filled when starting, which is very inconvenient. In order to store water in the pump, the inlet of the suction pipe requires a bottom valve. When the pump is working, the bottom valve causes a large hydraulic loss. The so-called self-priming pump does not need to be filled before starting (the first time after installation, it still needs watering). After a short time of operation, the pump itself can suck up the water and put it into normal work. Self-priming pumps are classified according to their principle of action: gas-liquid hybrid (including internal and external mixing), water ring and jet (including liquid jet)And gas jets) three categories.Working process of gas-liquid hybrid self-priming pump: Due to the special structure of the self-priming pump body, after the pump stops, there is a certain amount of water in the pump body. After the pump is started again, the air and water in the pipeline are sucked in due to the rotation of the impeller. Fully mixed and discharged to the gas-water separation chamber. The gas in the upper part of the gas-water separation chamber overflows. The lower water returns to the impeller and is re-mixed with the remaining air in the suction pipe until the gas in the pump and the suction pipe is completely excluded from the body. Suction, and normal pumping, the water ring wheel self-priming pump combines the water ring wheel and the impeller in a casing, and discharges the gas through the water ring to achieve self-priming. When the pump is working properly, the passage of the water ring wheel and the impeller can be cut through the valve and the liquid in the water ring can be drained. The jet self-priming pump is composed of a centrifugal pump and a jet pump (or an ejector). By means of the spraying device, a vacuum is created at the nozzle to achieve pumping.
